𝐉𝐚𝐦𝐛𝐮𝐥𝐚 𝐎𝐒 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔.𝟗.𝟎 𝐢𝐬 𝐨𝐮𝐭, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐢𝐭 𝐧𝐨𝐰 𝐫𝐮𝐧𝐬 𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐑𝐚𝐬𝐩𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐲 𝐏𝐢 𝐙𝐞𝐫𝐨 𝐖

I am happy to announce the availability of 𝐉𝐚𝐦𝐛𝐮𝐥𝐚 𝐎𝐒 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔.𝟗.𝟎!

Jambula OS is a lightweight, free and open source Linux operating system customized for deployment on embedded single-board computers (SBCs), such as the popular Raspberry Pi. This release brings Jambula OS support to the 𝐑𝐚𝐬𝐩𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐲 𝐏𝐢 𝐙𝐞𝐫𝐨 𝐖 𝐯𝟏.𝟏, one of the smallest boards around.

There are plenty of other changes and fixes in this release, but here are the major additions and improvements I worked on:

🖥️ 𝐑𝐚𝐬𝐩𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐲 𝐏𝐢 𝐙𝐞𝐫𝐨 𝐖 𝐯𝟏.𝟏
The operating system was tuned to get the most out of this tiny board. Supports H.264 video decoding and Bluetooth audio.

🛡️ 𝐀𝐝𝐆𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐇𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐬𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭
You can now use Jambula OS to block ads and trackers for every device on your network, including phones, tablets, smart TVs and more. There’s nothing to install on each device.

⚡ 𝐀 𝐦𝐮𝐜𝐡 𝐬𝐦𝐨𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐛𝐨𝐨𝐭
Initial setup is now faster and more responsive. The Wi-Fi hotspot is more reliable and the waiting time is shorter, so you spend less time watching a progress screen and more time using your device.
